CSAP Subject Matter Expert
Softball Ontario is developing new Certified Softball Administrator Program (CSAP) Workshops during the months of May and June 2011, and are looking for volunteers to act as Subject Matter Experts to assist us in their development. Subject Matter Experts will receive an honorarium in return for their assistance in developing the Workshops.
Softball Ontario is currently seeking Subject Matter Experts who will be able to assist us in the development of each of the workshops. Workshop content will include:
- Volunteer Management
- The Volunteer Management Workshop would cover volunteer screening, volunteer recognition and retention strategies, and succession planning.

- Special Event Management: Fast Pitch
- The Special Event Management Workshop would be designed to guide volunteers through the process of planning and hosting a fast pitch tournament or special event.
- The Special Event Management Workshop would be designed to guide volunteers through the process of planning and hosting a fast pitch tournament or special event.
- Special Event Management: Slo-Pitch
- The Special Event Management Workshop would be designed to guide volunteers through the process of planning and hosting a slo-pitch tournament or special event.
- The Special Event Management Workshop would be designed to guide volunteers through the process of planning and hosting a slo-pitch tournament or special event.
- Financial Management
- The Financial Management Workshop would address basic record keeping, controls & reporting, budget forecasting and budget management.
- The Financial Management Workshop would address basic record keeping, controls & reporting, budget forecasting and budget management.
- Social Networking
- The Social Networking Workshop would provide an introduction to Social Networking, how Social Networking can work for your Softball Association, the different types of Social Networking options, and how to get started in Social Networking.
Subject Matter Experts will receive an honorarium from Softball Ontario for their assistance in developing the Workshop, and will work directly with the Participation Program Coordinator and CSAP Master Learning Facilitator to develop the Workshop.
