Cartwright Minor Ball's mission statement - a Fun Learning Experience - our objectives include but are not limited to the following - to encourage the promotion of minor ball in general with specific emphasis on participation and a strong sense of fair play. Our organization is open to kids age 4 - 18. Teams are co-ed and compete against other centres in the area. Nights of play are determined through coordination with these centers. T-Ball teams do not travel.

About Us:
The formation of the Double B Sports Club happened in the 1960's. Two local sports enthusiasts noticed that our local corporate and commercial sponsorship for minor sports were in a severe decline. As a result so were sports in our community. These two gentlemen Lionel "Boom" Baker and John "Barney" Bradica formed the Club as a non-profit organization primarily for the purpose of raising sponsorship funds for minor sports teams in Oshawa and secondly for scholastic and charitable work. Using the double "B's" in both their names, and the City name the Oshawa Double "B" Sports Club was formed. The Club was incorporated under the same name in the early 1990's and followed its' original purposes.

Since its inception the Club has raised and provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to local boys and girls sports teams primarily in fastpitch softball. These teams have represented this City in International, National, Provincial and League championship play. During this time local charities and Durham College have also benefited. Any excess funds after sponsorship funding, were distributed to charities for special fundraising events and to provide for people in need in our community and to local scholarship funds. In addition, the Club has provided funding for upgrading facilities to National standards and participated in bringing three National Championships to our City and also numerous Provincial Championships.

About Us:
Since 1948 we have successfully organized recreational softball for the children. We are the grassroots softball house league program supporting all softball/fastball, slo-pitch and umpire programs in Durham. Our purpose is to provide a wholesome recreational environment for softball players, coaches, parents and league officials. The N.A.S.C. Softball Committee consists of volunteer Executive Members, Administrators, Convenors and the N.A.S.C. Umpires. Our organization is open to players age 4 - 22. Teams are co-ed in the younger divisions up to Squirt. The season begins in May until August, playing twice a week and we offer 2 tournaments; Spring tournament in June and playoffs in August.

The Brooklin-Whitby Girls Representative Fastball Association (BWGRFA), otherwise known as the Whitby Eagles, were established in 1995 as a not-for-profit. Our goal is to improve and foster amateur softball in Whitby and Durham Region at the Rep level. The Program has been successful thanks to our committed volunteer coaches and parents. Players attend post secondary school in both Canad and the US. Players and Coaches travel to the World Indoor Cup in the Netherlands. Our organization has produced three (3) past or present Olympians. Our goals is to:
