Volunteer Opportunity for Special Olympics Regional Softball Tournament

Special Olympics Ontario is looking for five (5) volunteers to act as advisors at their upcoming Regional Softball Tournament on August 28, 2010 at Coronation Park in Toronto. 

Advisors can be coaches, players, or former players, should have a good knowledge of the game of softball, and should be able to answer technical questions about the game.  The tournament will feature teams from across the region playing slo-pitch softball.

Umpire Shortage in Don Mills!

The Don Victoria Softball League, operating in the Don Mills area of Toronto, has experienced a growth of over 50% in youth softball registrations this year. As a result, the league's volunteer executive are looking to hire an additional 5-9 umpires to meet the demand for games in the season.
